Finalising Wind energy plant 12 in Scharndorf
    (June 17th, 2010)
PROFES is responsible for the project managment concerning the extention of the wind park in Scharndorf and we are proud of the successful finalisation of this wind turbine. From July on the wind energy plant will produce environmentally-friendly electricity for approximately 1.800 households and save 4.500 tons of carbon dioxide.
Expansion of wind parks Berg and Scharndorf: foundations are ready!
    (May 15th, 2010)
The foundations are finalised for two addtional wind energy plants in Scharndorf and Berg shortly after the construction was started. For each foundation 50 tons armouring irons and more than 400m³ concrete have been inserted.
Enlargement of the wind parks Berg and Scharndorf
    (February 26th, 2010)
As a consequence of establishing a new renewable energy feed-in tariff additional wind turbines of the type Vestas V90-2 MW will be built up in the wind parks Berg and Scharndorf. As a matter of fact the comprehensive and detailed advance planning has been worthwile. Both PROFES and Raiffeisen-Leasing are looking forward to the construction of the wind turbines this summer.

    High-yield operation year 2004
    (January 1st, 2005)
In the first operation year 2004 the wind park Scharndorf generated satisfactory outputs, because all affiliated wind energy plants have been working well despite ordinary service-interruptions and due to an adequate wind environment. Therefore the average one year forecast could be exceeded by 15%.
Initial operation of the wind park Scharndorf
    (December 30th, 2003)
After the initial operation of the transformer station at Dec. 5th, 2003, 11 wind energy plants were put into operation immediately. Before Christmas all wind energy plants delivered electricity to the electricity network and could use the good wind situation of this winter month.
