Overall description
The wind park Trautmannsdorf is located on a hill, basically used for agricultural purposes. The wind turbines are located on premises of the communities Gallbrunn and Stixneusiedl, which are part of the community Trautmannsdorf. Originally 9 wind turbines were planned, but because of ornithological considerations wind turbine number 1 could not be realised. Due to organisational reasons the numeration of the wind turbines still goes from 2 to 9. Close-by is the main city of this district Bruck/Leitha, where another wind park of the “Windpark Bruck/Leitha Gmbh&Co KG” company is located.
